Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work within a Warrington Primary School. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the learning and development of students in a respectful and inclusive environment.

This role will be 8.30am - 3.30pm, 5 days per week from September and rate of pay will be between £86 and £90 per day depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of educational materials
  • Support students with additional learning needs, ensuring they are included and supported in all classroom activities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds
  • Contribute to the safeguarding and well-being of all students
Qualifications
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of inclusive teaching practices and the ability to support students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage positively with students
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in an educational setting
Day-to-Day
  • Collaborating with the classroom teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs
  • Assisting with the organization and maintenance of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Building positive relationships with students and supporting their social and emotional well-being
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance inclusive teaching practices
