Job Title: Bid Manager
Location: Warrington

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Manager to join one of the leading Tier 1 Contractors in the UK.

With an annual turnover in excess of 1b they specialise in a variety of sectors which include the residential, education, healthcare, retail, leisure and commercial sectors, with projects ranging in value from 1m - 200m.

Due to their continued success and growth across the northern division they are now looking for a Bid Manager to join their team in Warrington.

The Role - Bid Manager

As a Bid Manager you will be part of an excellent established team and will be responsible for managing the Bid process on new projects across the North West, reporting into the Regional Head of Department.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Lead on new bids from conception through to completion including the cost estimate adjustments and final submissions.
  • Deliver the Bid Strategy and brief the tender team.
  • Make sure the correct subcontractors and suppliers are selected for key packages.
  • Organise distribution of tender documents and amendments.
  • Presentations to potential clients.
  • Ensure the quality of bid including written documentation and presentations are clear and concise.
  • Attend hand over meetings and brief the team on tender bids.


Required experience?

  • Have a degree or related qualification in Bid Writing.
  • Prior experience working within the commercial, residential or refurbishment sectors.
  • Prior experience working within a main contractor.
