Due to ongoing expansion, they are recruiting a Manufacturing Supervisor to join their Door factory.
About The Role:
The company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee their production team and ensure efficient operations within their manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in processes. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity while fostering a positive work environment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Supervise daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards
- Lead, train, and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and performance
- Monitor production metrics and implement strategies for improvement in efficiency and output
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve any operational issues
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels and equipment maintenance logs
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee feedback and participation in problem-solving initiatives
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing supervisory role, preferably in window production
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members at all levels
- Reliable with good time keeping skills is essential
- Be able to work in a very busy, fast-moving environment and have a very strong work ethic
