We are seeking a Project Engagement Lead to join our client’s dynamic project team. This role is crucial for planning and delivering an effective stakeholder management plan, including activities related to stakeholders, customers, and the community. The successful candidate will own the stakeholder management approach for the project, building and developing relationships that enhance our reputation and support our aspiration to be a leading service provider in the North West.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Collaborate with the project team to develop stakeholder analysis and plans that align with the overarching business strategy.
  • Manage and coordinate key stakeholder relationships to ensure adherence to best practice principles of effective stakeholder management.
  • Influence and support the programme delivery model by providing market intelligence and insights from other companies to inform project delivery.
  • Develop and implement plans for engaging with external stakeholders, ensuring consistent messaging and information provision.
  • Create proactive stakeholder communications plans and advise the programme team on tactical delivery, promoting best practice communications approaches.
  • Operate the stakeholder plan governance approach, providing updates and intelligence to the steering group on progress and key issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Professionally qualified with relevant experience in stakeholder management.
  • Highly customer and stakeholder-focused, capable of managing multiple agendas in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of market research methodologies and their application.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with the ambition to make a significant business impact.
  • Experienced in progressive and best practice communication and stakeholder management approaches.
  • Ability to champion the best experience in stakeholder interactions, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.
  • Skilled in influencing, networking, and negotiating at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Capable of understanding the needs and priorities of different groups and building effective relationships across the business and with partner agencies.
