Continuous Improvement & Procurement Manager

Talent84 Ltd have a Permanent Full-Time vacancy for an Interim Continuous Improvement & Procurement Manager to work for a national transport provider.

Hours of work are:

  • Monday - Friday
  • Day shift

Location

  • Although the role is based at Warrington travel to other sites will be required,

Pay Rate:

  • £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus company car allowance

Job Purpose

  • To develop and manage various key improvement projects across the business by gathering information including financial data. Keeping projects on track and within allocated budgets. Collaborating with different departments to ensure all leaders understand where a project is in the development process and the timeline for execution.

Duties are varied and may include:

  • Collaborating with department leaders across the business to define, prioritise and develop various key projects
  • Managing the tender and procurement process
  • Rolling out project management plans including delegating tasks to the team and setting timescales
  • Analysing financial data, including project budgets and risks
  • Producing financial reports and presenting to the Board of Directors
  • Overseeing the development and delivery of each project
  • Keeping and maintaining accurate records of the projects creation and development as well as documenting the projects scope, budget and justification.
  • Producing management reports/KPIs/statistics on a regular basis to identify risk and monitor success

Skills required:

  • Experience of project managing within the Logistics Industry
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Full driving licence
  • Relevant qualifications - Graduate level or equivalent
