About the Role:
We're looking for a freelance Quantity Surveyor to work with a reputable house builder, adding value from start to finish. As part of their team, you'll work closely with our project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure projects run smoothly, cost-effectively, and to plan.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Estimating & Costing: Assess project costs, prepare detailed budgets, and create estimates.
* Financial Oversight: Keep a close eye on expenditures, managing cost adjustments throughout the project.
* Negotiation & Contracts: Oversee contract management, including valuations, payments, and client negotiations.
* Reporting: Regularly update stakeholders, keeping everyone informed on costs and forecasts.
Ideal Candidate would have:
* Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or related industries.
* Skills: A talent for accuracy, with an eye for detail and the ability to think ahead.
* Software Savvy: Comfortable with the latest quantity surveying and estimation software.
* Communication: Strong communicator who can work with diverse teams and keep everyone on track.
