My client are a UK leading facades contractor delivering a wide range of services including cladding and re-cladding, building restoration, rendering, EWI, and steel framing. Projects they work on include student accommodation, mixed-use developments, large historic buildings, healthcare, education, leisure, and hotels, with subcontract values up to and over 5m.

They have worked with several leading main contractors across the UK, gaining an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality services.

They are seeking an ambitious and motivated Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

As the Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with the senior commercial team, offering you an ideal platform to grow and excel in your career.

As the Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, your role will include:

  • Working on a range of specialist, large cladding and restoration projects, helping to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Reviewing project costs for accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Helping to evaluate, price, negotiate, and finalise budgets and costs for project scope changes.
  • Developing and maintaining procurement schedules.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience within the construction industry
  • Degree qualified in quantity surveying (Desirable)
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong work ethic
