With a reputation for excellence and a focus on quality, the company is seeking to expand its team with a dedicated M&E Quantity Surveyor.

Role Overview:
The M&E Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of multiple M&E projects, ensuring cost control and contract administration are carried out efficiently. This individual will collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations, within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
  • Conducting cost analysis, value engineering, and procurement strategies
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate contracts and agreements
  • Managing and processing payments, variations, and final accounts
  • Monitoring project progress and providing financial reports to stakeholders
  • Ensuring that projects comply with contractual and legal requirements
  • Supporting project managers with risk management and dispute resolution
  • Conducting regular site visits to assess work progress and validate cost reports

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the data centre or commercial sectors
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, contracts, and cost management
  • Familiarity with NEC or JCT contract administration
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in estimation software and financial reporting tools
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline is preferred
  • Membership of RICS or other relevant professional bodies is advantageous
