We are working with a main contractor who are seeking to employ a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis to add to their growing team in the Utilitiessector. As the Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the commercial success of the projects whilst being involved in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate the terms and conditions of subcontracts
  • Management and payment of specialist subcontracts and key suppliers
  • Coordinate any changes or amendments that may occur over the course contract, following the change process in accordance with this NEC 3/4 Option A & C contract
  • Undertake site visits to administer the contract in line with the progress of the works
  • Work with the project team to evaluate the impact of changes to the budget

What do we need from you?

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor - preferable in the Civil, Pipeline or Infrastructure sector
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course
  • Bid Knowledge
  • Excellent legal/contractual knowledge
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Valid UK driving licence


The salary is indicative and based on experience.
