The Role

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will join our dynamic delivery team and play a key role in the company's growth. You will help build and manage our collection of valuable market data to support in areas such as candidate profiling and market analysis. You will learn how to build strong relationships, effectively resource candidates, place them with clients and generate sales leads. Lignum is committed to supporting your development.

Responsibilities

  • Use external databases and information sources to gather publically available client and candidate information and input into our CRM system.
  • Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn and other job boards.
  • Write and post-effective adverts.
  • Match candidates to job specifications.
  • Pre-qualify candidates.
  • Secure right to represent.
  • Prepare candidate packs.
  • Prepare candidates for stages of the recruitment process.
  • Liaise with the hiring manager regarding interviews etc.
  • Debrief candidates at key stages.
  • Liaise with the candidate regarding package and new starter onboarding details.
  • Manage vacancy workflow through Bullhorn.
  • Work collaboratively with business development functions.

Experience

  • No recruitment experience is necessary.
  • Experience in sales or customer service roles beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Motivated, proactive and resilient.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
