Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively handle inbound and outbound sales calls to generate new leads and close sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the construction and trades industry.
  • Identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions from our product range.
  • Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers.
  • Process sales orders, follow up on inquiries, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with the external sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activity.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales, ideally within the construction or trades industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, tools, or equipment is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, with a results-driven attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
