MDE are hiring a Control Systems Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative engineering firm that specializes in bespoke automation solutions for a variety of sectors. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Control Systems Engineer with specialized knowledge in Electrical Design to join our team. As Control Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing drive systems for new projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teamsspearhead various projects ensuring they hit each milestone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop PLC & SCADA programs using Siemens, Allen Bradley & Beckhoff.
  • Provide Electrical design using EPLAN or AutoCAD.
  • Provide technical expertise in the evaluation, selection, and integration of drive components and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of drive systems into larger projects.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Adhearing to compliance withe regulations for health and safety.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Degree level educated or equivalent in a relevant Engineering sector. (Ideally Electrical Engineering)
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  • Excellent understanding of electrical control systems
