Job title: Embedded Controls Engineer

Salary: up to £40,000
Yoh are working with an exciting and scaling business who are at the heart of innovative battery management solutions focusing on batteries and invertors for industrial and commercial applications.
They are looking for an Embedded Controls Engineer to join the team due to growth and this individual would be looking after the software and controls development of internal products. Due to them being more within R&D projects vary and ideas are praised giving engineers the license to run with them and come up with designs and new products.
Based in the Warrington area, they would be looking for an engineer to be able to reliably commute to their office with hybrid working being something they are looking to introduce across the business. Offering a salary of up to £40,000 they are looking for engineers who have gained some exposure and experience and now looking to continuing growing with an exciting challenge.
Responsibilities:
- Work on developing and implementing software for controls on projects across batter management solutions
- Working with communication protocols which would interact with controls and hardware, these could be Modbus and Canbus for example.
Skills required:
- Preferably 2+ years’ experience working within controls software
- Knowledge of computer programming languages such as Python, some of their products work on Linux environment.
- Understanding on electrical systems such as control panels would be advantageous.
