Account Manager/BD Execuitve- Engineering Services Company - Warrington - 45-55k + benefits

A growing consultancy company, offering engineering services to a variety of industries. They're looking for an Account Manager/BD Executive to join their team to help manage client relationships and identify further opportunities with existing and new clients.

You will be supported by technical experts, as well as the Business Develompent Director who will help you gain an understanding of their services, whilst giving you formal training to enhance your existing skillset.

You'll be in a client facing role and will aim to build on existing relationships and help to market their services further to increase future business opportunities.

Some key responsibilities are listed below;

  • Client management for existing clients including following up and keeping in touch to understand future opportunities
  • Assist with writing proposals and coordinate competitive tenders
  • Manage and coordinate the development of marketing material within the department

Ideally, you will have a background in a similar role working for a company selling services, rather than physical products (consulting services, engineering services, people services, social media services, business to business services etc).

You don't need a technical background but you do need to be good with people and building rapport with clients, and have the willingness to learn about the company and what they do.
