Are you an experienced transactional finance professional looking to take the next big step in your career? We're working with a growing utilities company, offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team!


This is a hands-on role where you'll take full ownership of both the purchase and sales ledgers, with progression opportunities to take on cashflow and month-end duties within the next 12 months. You'll have the chance to work closely with the Finance Manager, gaining valuable experience and growing your skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end process for Purchase and Sales ledgers.
  • Oversee CIS subcontractor payments and HMRC verification.
  • Handle credit control in collaboration with project managers.
  • Run weekly and month-end payments, and reconcile supplier accounts.
  • Create purchase orders and process payments via bank.
  • Work on domestic reverse VAT compliance
