Role and Responsibility

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.

Instilling a passion for reading, writing, and critical thinking by engaging students with captivating literature and thought-provoking activities.

Developing students' language and communication skills through a variety of interactive and creative teaching methods.

Providing timely feedback and constructive guidance to help students improve their reading comprehension, writing proficiency, and analytically thinking.

Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning, respectful discussions, and a sense of community.

Collaborating with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that integrate English into other subjects.

Participating in school-wide activities, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching certification.

A degree in English, English Literature, or a related field.

Strong subject knowledge and a deep understanding of the English curriculum.

Experience teaching English to students of varying ages and abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively.

Enthusiasm for your subject, coupled with the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Organisational skills and the ability to create engaging lesson plans and assessments.
