Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools in Warrington who are seeking an English Teacher for a long-term role due to start in December 2024 . This is a full-time position continuing until the end of the academic year in July. Our client school are seeking an English Teacher to teach across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, experience teaching AQA GCSE English Literature and AQA GCSE English Language

The successful English Teacher will be joining a faculty who aim to enable students to read critically and for enjoyment, develop students' abilities to express themselves effectively through writing for difference audiences in various forms and encourage students to speak confidently in a range of contexts and listen attentively in order to respond appropriately.

Pay for this position is up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.

To be considered for this English teaching position based in St. Helens the essentials are:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
