Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools in Warrington who are seeking a Food Technology Teacher for start in January. This is a full-time position. Our client school are seeking a Food Technology Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4.

The successful Food Technology Teacher will be joining a Technology department whose intent is to inspire students to use creativity and imagination to make products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts. Students learn how to take risks, become resourceful, innovative, enterprising and capable citizens that are respectful and compassionate.

Pay for this position is up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.

To be considered for this Food Technology Teacher position based in Wigan the essentials are:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
