Tradewind are on the lookout for a ASD Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a strong SEN background, in particular supporting students diagnosed with Autism. The successful candidate will be working in a designated provision SEN unit attached to a primary school in Warrington. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who can adapt activities for students they are working with to support individual needs and has a positive approach to managing challenging behaviour.
This is a full-time, long-term role starting as soon as possible with the potential to run through to July 2025. The school will only accept applications from experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants who have had prior experience in supporting children / young adults with SEN.
What you need:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- SEN experience
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS or a willingness to obtain one
- 2x professional references including one from your most recent employer
- Legal right to work in the UK
