Excell Supply is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our team. We have opportunities for day-to-day supply work beginning in September that can develop into full-time or part-time positions based on your availability. We also offer long-term roles with the possibility of becoming permanent.

What the role entails as a Teaching Assistant...
- Provide individualized support to a child aged between 3 and 11 with special educational needs.
- Assist with daily classroom activities and access to the curriculum.
- Implement and monitor tailored learning strategies.
- Record progress and provide feedback to the teacher
- Promote the child's social, emotional, and academic development.
- Adapt teaching materials to suit the child's needs.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
What we look for in you as a Teaching Assistant...
- Experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
- Effective behaviour management techniques.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic classroom environment.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Registered or happy to register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council for Wales)
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (we can assist you in applying for this)
