The Role:

The successful candidate will be an experienced Team Leader managing a team of Legal Collection Agents who will be the main point of contact for customers who have received a Debt Recovery Letter and are responsible for taking payments, setting up payment arrangements and answering customer queries.

The Team Leader role will be to ensure that the Inbound Collection Agents, and the team, as a whole, maximise collections throughout the process of the collections letter cycle.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Have a strong understanding of the department processes and compliance
  • Able to work under pressure and with initiative, including being creative with ideas for projects
  • Able to engage team members and maximise teams potential.
  • Training and/or IQA experience essential
  • Management/leadership experience desirable but not essential
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in IT systems
  • The ability to demonstrate confidence and resilience
