Senior Tax Manager

Overview

Resourcery Group are working in partnership with a global, €10bn t/o, health care company to recruit a Senior Tax lead.


The role

The Senior Tax Manager role is an expansive one, taking ownership and responsibility for all tax matters arising in the UK & Ireland. The remit of the role covers all Direct and Indirect Taxes, Corporation Tax analysis, Employment taxes, VAT and Customs reporting, Compliance etc. The role reports to the SLT and will provide the role holder with daily access to a wide variety of cross-functional, C-suite stakeholders, both in the UK and the EU.

The role is standalone (for the time being) so interested applicants need to be comfortable working in an operationally-focused, hands-on role. That said, you must be a shrewd stakeholder manager, capable of driving delivery, improvement and performance through others. T

Key skills:

Applicants should be able to demonstrate skills across several areas:

• CTA qualified tax professional.
• Experienced of and having had exposure to VAT, Corporation tax, Intrastat and Customs reporting.
• Given the UK & Ireland remit, you should possess an awareness of both HMRC and Irish Revenue tax rules.
• Excellent cross-functional stakeholder manager.
• A good understanding of employment taxes including PSA and P11D
• Experience of Transfer Pricing and group related transactions
• Experience of using SAP beneficial.
