NDS Healthcare are looking for strong, passionate, and reliable Support Workers to care for clients with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs in Warrington. We have both Full-Time and Part-Time vacancies available as well as a choice of Days or Nights at services across the Warrington area.
We provide care and support to clients with a range of Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs including those with ASD (Autism) and Challenging Behaviour.
Candidates require a minimum of 6 months experience within the UK care sector and must be confident, resilient, reliable and trustworthy. We are looking for people with a passion for delivering excellent care and promoting independent living.
Although we would prefer experience with Complex and Challenging Behaviours, this is not always essential and we will provide extra training for the right candidate in partnership with the Positive Behaviour Support Team.
This role does require applicants to have a full UK drivers licence as clients have their own mobility vehicle and you will be required to drive this to facilitate activities and access to the local community.

- £12.50 - £13.50 per hour flat rate
- 14 Hour Day Shifts - 8am-10pm with Sleep In
- 10 Hour Night Shifts - 10pm - 8am
- A rolling rota to provide and promote a healthy work life balance
- Positions available for either Day or Nights - your choice!
- Overtime available and optional.
- Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities is essential
- Candidates must be prepared to deliver Personal Care
As a Support Worker within this service, you will be caring and compassionate with a passion for delivering exceptional care and promoting service user’s independence to live their best life.
The services we provide support a wide variety of vulnerable people, some will be non verbal so candidates must be approachable with clear communication so you can build relationships and trust. Challenging behaviours can be verbal or physical, you must be attentive and alert to triggers and committed to supporting clients in a person-centred way that works best for them to deliver positive outcomes.
Training is provided by the organisation and is delivered locally but you MUST possess a minimum of 6 months UK Care experience.
Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS Registered on the update service, if a new DBS is required this cost will be met by the applicant with a £28 up front payment at the application stage and a further £28 deduction from the first weekly wage.
