Tradewind is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support a students with SEN in our Warrington SEN user schools.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs and has a passion for promoting independence and life skills. The position is to start ASAP and will be a full-time, long-term position until July 2025.

Within this role, you will be supporting primary aged students who require tailored, individualised support. Your day-to-day duties will be ensuring that the curriculum and learning is accessible for the students, ensuring that they can reach their potential.

To be considered for this position as School Support Worker in Warrington you must:

  • Have experience working with children who have SEN needs
  • Experience with challenging behaviour
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
  • Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references, covering the last 2 years, including your most recent education reference
  • Have a full and complete 10-year career history
