We are seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Officer on a full-time temporary contract in Warrington for a minimum of 6 months, paying competitive hourly rates. Your new role

  • Tenancy management - viewings, sign-ups, audits, exchanges, inspections, new tenancy visits, attending evictions, unauthorised occupations and tenancy fraud
  • Low level ASB & tenancy breach caseload management - triaging cases, liaising with Enforcement officers, preparing and serving notices for breaches of tenancy
  • Tenancy sustainment support - carrying out assessment of needs, signposting to external support agencies, identifying where customers are at risk of failing their tenancies and making positive interventions
  • Responding to general enquiries, queries and complaints from customers, Councillors and Local MPs
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders
  • Home visits
  • Health & safety compliance, inspections, assisting to log and chase repairs

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a Housing/Neighbourhood Officer role delivering housing, tenancy and estate management to general needs customers
  • ASB caseload management and experience of dealing with low level arrears & other breaches of tenancy
  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage own diary efficiently
