Our Client has a requirement for a Part time EC&I Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in either Glasgow or Warrigton

Role Purpose:

  • Senior or Principal EC&I engineer to lead design delivery and assist in providing client oversight of packages of work within site management - SFM asset care.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • A preference for nuclear experience is preferred.
  • The candidate would a team of CE&I engineers and designers in the delivery of design packages for current and future design stages.
  • Be fully conversant with Regulator requirements, Standards and Procedures applicable at a project level and ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Can produce, check, and provide technical oversight of CE&I key deliverables documents/reports, calculations, schedules, drawings etc. to programme and appropriate quality.
  • Able to deliver to relevant standards, codes and regulations.
  • Able to work collaboratively with other disciplines, stakeholders and the wider project team.
  • Experience and ability to deliver projects at a variety of lifecycle stages from scoping through to operational handover and close out.
  • Experience, ability and desire to support less experienced engineers, graduates and apprentices.
  • Experience of managing engineers, designers and supply chain contracts.
  • Understanding of project fundamentals - Familiarity in using typical project metrics to evaluate and report design progress.
  • Experience developing CE&I schedules and estimates.
  • Experience planning, monitoring and managing resource requirements.
  • Can provide support and able to lead technical and project meetings.
  • SC clearance would be preferred.
