We are looking to hire a NetSuite Developer to join The Caroola Group! This is a contracting role which we anticipate to last for a minimum of 3 months

As part of a broader business wide technology strategy, Caroola has recently gone Live with NetSuite to support Finance on the accountancy and tax side of the business. This will be extended in 2024 to also cover the umbrella payroll side of the business (Parasol). This role will be the first permanent specialist NetSuite resource in Caroola and will sit within the Finance function with a close working relationship with IT Development.

As the NetSuite Developer you will deliver new features and functions to the Live NetSuite solution and work alongside our 3rd party supplier experts in delivering the new NetSuite solution for Parasol.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysing and defining solutions
  • Make technical recommendations and participate in testing
  • Develop fit for purpose solutions in line with technical design
  • Ensure solutions are performance tuned and meet security standards
  • Provides effective documentation to support installation/ support
  • Cross skills team members on new functionality/ solutions
  • Collaborates within Finance and with IT Development and the wider business across all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Contributes to best practice for NetSuite development for the team

Skills & Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable of the NetSuite product and ecosystem
  • Experienced at integrating NetSuite systems into an existing application landscape
  • Understanding of good development practices and understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
  • Experienced at working with business stakeholders to understand the requirements for NetSuite solutions
  • Demonstrable experience solving technical problems with an inquisitive nature
  • Able to work well with non-technical colleagues and adapt style to understand the issue and recommend the right solution
  • Experience in leading and conducting core NetSuite system administration duties
  • SuiteScript and SuiteQL experience desirable
  • Able to review,amend and optimize custom workflow scripts
  • Experience working on system integration projects
  • Familiarity with other enterprise systems for example, Salesforce, and integration technologies such as MuleSoft would be advantageous
  • Experience with data migrations into NetSuite environments
  • Experience with integrations working alongside external parties and banking systems
  • Ability to liaise with external parties and escalate complex systems issues through to successful resolution
  • Create and optimise reporting processes
