- Work closely with the Delivery team to provide targeted support to apprentices who require additional learning support.
- Deliver support through 1:1 sessions, small group interactions, and classroom environments
- Manage and document detailed records of support provided to support the compliance process for Learning Support Funding (LSF)
- Conduct initial assessments to identify learners who may require additional support
- Prepare and submit evidence to support Learning Support Funding claims
- Monitor and review the effectiveness of support provided through LSF
- Ensure compliance with Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) guidelines for LSF usage
- Adopt innovative strategies to empower learners and promote independent learning
- Support the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of apprentices
- Assist students in maximizing their skills, abilities, and potential
- Develop tools and strategies to help learners develop confidence and overcome learning barriers
- Support learners in social contexts through encouragement and active listening
- To promote genuine equality, diversity and well-being in all aspects of apprenticeship delivery and take responsibility for the health, safety and safeguarding activities applicable to the role as set out in the organisation’s policy statements
- Experience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy
- IT skills sufficient to support learners remotely
- Understanding of apprenticeship funding rules and Learning Support Funding processes
- Knowledge of inclusive educational practices and techniques.
