Reeson Education is working with a fantastic SEMH school in the WA4 area to recruit a Learning Support Assistant for a full-time, long-term role supporting students across Key Stages 2, 3 & 4.

This specialist school provides a nurturing, structured, and inclusive environment where pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs can thrive. The focus is on building confidence, resilience, and academic success, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities for the Learning Support Assistant:

? Provide 1:1 and small group support to SEMH pupils? Assist with learning activities & classroom engagement? Help develop students' emotional regulation and social skills? Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment? Work closely with teachers & therapists to implement individual learning plans

Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant:

?? Passion for supporting students with SEMH needs?? Strong communication & behaviour management skills?? Experience in a school or care setting (desirable but not essential)?? Resilient, patient, and adaptable approach?? Commitment to a long-term role in a specialist setting
