A lovely Warrington Primary School situated in WA4 is seeking an SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant to provide 1-1 support for a Year 5 Student with Downs Syndrome.

This is a full-time position commencing on November 6th with an opportunity to gain a fixed-term contract until July 2026.

The student doesn't spend much time in the classroom, therefore this can be quite an isolating role. As a result, we will only consider applications from those with an extensive 1-1 background/experience/skillset.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have Makaton or Zones of Regulation training.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need:

  • SEN Specialism
  • Extensive 1-1 TA experience
  • Training or experience with Makaton or Zones of Regulation
  • Full-time availability from November 6th
