Are you a dedicated and passionate HLTA looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? We are seeking a committed and experienced HLTA to join our dynamic SEN Provision in Warrington.

We are seeking an SEN HLTA to start immediately on a full-time, long-term basis.

About the Role:

As an HLTA in our SEN Provision, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning, working closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students with diverse needs. You will help to create an inclusive, engaging, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver structured interventions and support learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.

  • Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to small groups and individuals.

  • Support the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils with SEN.

  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, teachers, and other support staff to implement EHCP targets.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive learning experiences.

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support, adapting resources and strategies to meet individual needs.

  • Help in assessing and tracking pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience working within an SEN setting, supporting children with additional needs.

  • Strong understanding of SEND strategies, including behaviour management and differentiated teaching.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A patient, resilient, and positive approach to supporting students.
