Transport Planner

£28k - £32k DOE

10am - 7pm

St Helens

Our well-established client working within the haulage industry are looking to onboard a reliable and efficientTransport Plannerto join their already flourishing team!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and well renowned organisation and be part of a rapidly growing business where hard work and dedication is rewarded. Previous experience within a similar role or company is a necessity. Responsibilities:

  • UK planning for a mixed fleet of vehicles including rigids and artics in the quickest and most cost effective manner
  • Liaising with drivers daily regarding delivery updates
  • Day to day communication with customers
  • Liaising with other departments where necessary
  • The ability to be able to plan groupage loads

Requirements:

  • Recent experience working within a Transport Planning role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work well alone as well as within a team
  • Flexible working hours
  • A proactive approach to work and have the ability to think on their feet
