Up to £45,000 Basic

+ Up to £10,000 Performance related bonus

My client is a furniture & upholstery supply, manufacturing and furniture installation company located in Warrington, Cheshire. They offer a broad range of furniture options to both the retail and hospitality sectors. They are committed to delivering bespoke and off-the-shelf furniture & upholstery products with exceptional quality. They are a Fixed Seating Specialist, capable of providing a touch of elegance to any venue across the UK and produce bespoke hand-crafted original pieces of quality furniture where each piece is custom designed.

Currently experiencing an exciting period of growth, they wish to appoint an exceptionally skilled Upholsterer / Upholstery Manager, who is a highly skilled bespoke Upholsterer with experience in supervising a small team to meet production targets and deadlines.

Upholsterer / Upholstery Manager duties & responsibilities:

• Effectively manage and oversee production within the Upholstery section
• Play a hands-on role within the Upholstery sector and help produce furniture
• Ensure the Upholsterer 's are on target to meet production and installation deadlines
• Performance manage individual team members
• Record staff sickness, attendance and performance
• Ensure the workshop is well maintained, clean and tidied at all times
• Ensuring stock levels and materials are ordered and available
• Speak to designers and customers about individual designs and orders

Upholsterer / Upholstery Manager Experience:

• Must have a high level of Upholstery experience and knowledge
• A background in contract Upholstery and furniture production
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a similar role
• Be willing to travel and attend installations if required
• Have a full UK Drivers license
