Fleet Manager - Warrington

About the role

A vacancy has arisen for a Fleet Manager to join our team at Warrington.

The successful candidate will ideally have HGV haulage or workshop background and will report to the Company Fleet Engineer

Specific duties will be defined and developed when new role starts.

Initial duties will include but not limited to.

Audit drivers walk round checks

Carry out vehicle / trailer audits post inspection

Visit & audit vendors in the UK & Ireland

Fit & manage trailer trackers

Assist the Senior Fleet Engineer in the Fleet Department.

Investigate vendors & carry out investigations on those that have failed.

Inspect hire equipment

Manage parts & tyre stock

Minor running repairs as required

Purchase ordering

Occasional hands-on assistance

Emergency on call telephone rota for breakdowns or accidents

Candidate Requirements

IT Literate

Good organisational and management skills.

Experience in a multi depot organisation

Desirable Qualifications

City & Guilds Levels 1, 2 & 3

Society of Operations Engineers Membership

Salary

Circa £38k - £40k
