Looking for a highly skilled welder fabricator..

Timings are from 7am - 3:30pm 40 hours a week..

30 mins break and 15 min tea break

Must have own tools etc. Ie welding helmet, overalls, boots

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder and Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, setting up welding equipment, fabricating metal structures, and ensuring high-quality welding work. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding on various metal materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using fabrication tools and machinery.
  • Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain and repair welding and fabrication equipment as needed.
  • Adhere to company and industry safety regulations and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet company standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a welder and fabricator.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in using cutting torches, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools.
  • Knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in welding (AWS, ASME, or equivalent) is a plus.
