Accounts Assistant

Our client is a highly regarded professional services business and are an Accounts Assistant, to join their Finance team to play a crucial role in supporting their financial processes.

Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you will ensure the smooth running of financial operations, processing daily transactions, maintaining ledgers, and providing support for financial compliance. Working closely with their Finance Manager and Finance Director, you'll contribute to a variety of financial activities, including reconciliations, payments, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile client and office accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Process payments securely, including BACS and liaising with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage supplier invoices, staff expenses, petty cash, and prepare payment runs.
  • Assist in financial reporting and support ad hoc projects led by the senior finance team.
