Workshop Technician

Location: Wellesbourne, Warwickshire

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm (1 hr lunch)

Contract Temp-Perm

We are looking for a Workshop Technician required for a company based in Wellesbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, upkeep and repairs of the various machines. Have a hands-on approach to strip down various machinery and replace parts as needed and lift and manoeuvre pieces of machinery safely and effectively.

This position is offered on an initial contract basis with the opportunity of a permanent position for those who demonstrate a high skillset and strong business behaviours.

This is an exciting and fast-moving role that will require you to be highly organised, comfortable multitasking and able to prioritise workloads.

Duties And Responsibilities - Workshop Technician:

  • General Maintenance: Ensure games and machinery are in top condition.
  • Minor Repairs: Perform on-site repairs to keep equipment running smoothly.
  • Cleaning and Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all equipment.
  • Workshop Maintenance: Keep your work area organized and efficient.
  • Hands-On Repairs: Strip down various machinery and replace parts as needed.
  • Physical Tasks: Lift and manoeuvre machinery safely and effectively.

Required Skills of the Workshop Technician:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Passion: A strong interest in the gaming industry and amusement arcade products.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organisation: Ability to manage and prioritize workload efficiently.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods
