Role & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

路Lead structural engineering projects, particularly in residential and heritage sectors.
路Conduct structural surveys and produce comprehensive reports.
路Assess existing structures and recommend remedial solutions.
路Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and practical engineering designs.
路Oversee projects from initial concept to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and budget adherence.
路Mentor and support junior engineers.
路Stay informed of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

路BEng/MSc/MEng (or equivalent) in Civil/Structural Engineering (2:1 or above).
路Chartered status (or actively working towards chartership) with IStructE or ICE.
路Minimum of 4 years' UK design experience.
路Strong technical expertise and a passion for continued learning.
路Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
路Experience with Tekla and TEDDS is desirable.
路A driven and ambitious mindset with a strong commitment to success.
