We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in Coventry on a temp to perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and qualified individual with relevant experience in facilities management, looking to manage a small team of up to two people and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities across multiple sites.Key Details:• Location: Coventry• Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum• Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00, Friday 08:30 to 13:30Team: • Manage a team of up to 2 staff members• Driving: A valid driving licence is required, as you will be required to travel between sites.• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate• Additional Benefits: Car park pass for the town centre and access to a company vanAnnual Leave:• 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays.• For every 2 years of service, annual leave increases by 1 extra day.Key Responsibilities:• Oversee day-to-day facilities management operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment across multiple locations.• Manage and maintain building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and safety systems.• Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.• Coordinate with internal teams to meet operational requirements and resolve issues promptly.• Maintain effective systems for monitoring and reporting on building performance, maintenance schedules, and health & safety compliance.• Travel between sites as needed to ensure smooth operations and effective management.Skills & Experience:• Relevant experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role is essential.• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a small team.• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and building maintenance.• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.• A valid driving licence is essential for travel between sites.Additional Perks:• Overtime:Paid at 1.5x your hourly rate for any additional hours worked.• Car Park Pass: Enjoy the convenience of a car park pass for the town centre, ensuring easy access to your workplace.
