Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a new role? Empowered Personnel is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers based in Warwick.
Position: HGV Class 2
Experience: Minimum 6 months HGV Class 2 driving experience
Vehicle Types: You will be required to drive a variety of vehicles; HGV Class 2, 7.5-tonne and 3.5-tonne vehicles with Class 2 pay rate paid regardless of the vehicle you will be driving
Rate: £15.00 per hour
Deliveries: Nationwide multi-drop, averaging 10-15 drops per day
Start Times: Typically 6 am, but flexibility will be required to start earlier depending upon the scheduled delivery
Job Responsibilities:
Order Picking & Loading: Pick deliveries from a pallet and load onto your vehicle prior to delivery
Vehicle Type: Drive refrigerated box trailer vehicles
Offloading: Use PPT to offload pallets for larger orders
Customer Interaction: Excellent customer service skills required for this customer-facing role
Cash Handling: Comfortable with colleting monies for cash customers
Ideal Candidate:
Experience: Preferably worked for a food wholesaler
Skills: Excellent customer service experience
Attitude: Willing and flexible to adapt to various tasks and schedules
Role Type:
Temp to Perm: Transition to a permanent role after 10 weeks
Bonus: £150 attendance bonus each month when permanent
Pay Increase: £16.00 per hour upon becoming permanent
