Role: Class 1 HGV Driver

Salary: c43,000 dep on exp

The role:
- You will be responsible for loading, unloading and transporting Construction plant equipment and attachments
- Carrying out and completing delivery and collection checks on each load ensuring all aspects of the load are captured using a tablet based reporting system.
- Loading and securing each load in compliance with the required regulation.
- Daily vehicle checks and inspections on the allocated vehicle reporting any defects to the transport manager immediately ensuring constant compliance in line with regulations and company standards.
Requirements:
- A Clean Class 1 licence
- Candidates will ideally have experience in abnormal loads, loading, securing and transporting of plant equipment
- NPORS or CPCS Loader Securer advantageous
- FORS eLearning modules advantageous
Additional Information:
- Expected hours: 55 per week
- Monday to Friday and some weekend work as and when required.
- Driving: 1 year (Essential)
- Licence/Certification: Clean class 1 licence (required)
- Work Location: On the road
