If you're passionate about protecting personal data and ensuring privacy compliance within an exciting and fast-paced environment, then this is the perfect role for you.**What You Will Do:**- Conduct comprehensive Privacy risk assessments on a variety of projects, including in-vehicle infotainment, cloud processing, and connected vehicle products.- Provide expert advice on EU and UK Data Protection Legislation (GDPR) compliance to engineering teams.- Identify and articulate privacy compliance risks, complex data flows, and the role of third parties in data handling.- Ensure adherence to international data transfers, industry-specific guidelines, data minimisation techniques, and data subject rights.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed privacy requirements into project designs from inception.- Stay abreast of the latest developments in data privacy and security, applying this knowledge to safeguard the company's innovative projects.**What You Will Bring:**- A background as a legal or technology specialist, with proven experience in a dedicated Privacy role.- Proven track record of completing Privacy risk assessments.- Excellent written communication skills.- Qualifications such as CIPP/E, Law Degree, Engineering/IT Degree, or being a Qualified Lawyer are highly desirable.- Experience in technical or technology-based processes, especially within Automotive, Engineering, IT, Software Development, or Banking sectors, is preferred.**Company Contribution & Industry Information:**This role is a cornerstone in ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of automotive innovation while adhering to the highest standards of data privacy and security.
