Project Manager

Duration - 6 Months

Location - Warwick / Remote

Summary

This role is required to fulfill the requirements for delivery of Large and Medium Combustion Plant Investments in line with the Industrial Emissions Directive and the RIIO T2 business plan. Management of investment from early project lifecycle FEED, through to delivery and handover of large-scale Compressor projects.

To deliver capital projects to time, cost, specification in accordance with the Network Development Process and to ensure health, safety, quality and environmental issues are managed throughout the project.

This role will have end to end accountability for the definition, development, delivery and closure of investment projects within Gas Transmission, ensuring the delivery of projects which meet all safety, environmental, functional performance, financial performance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver designated projects to the highest standard of safety and environmental protection in the Construction industry.
  • Manage resources, processes, contracts, business procedures and system accesses to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, economically, and on time.
  • Represent the Senior Project Manager as required.
  • Support with development of the Client risk register and ensure all relevant risks are identified, assessed and mitigated throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support with development and write-up of the regulatory submission to Ofgem planned in early 2025
  • Support with coordinating and managing the interface with the Original Equipment Manufacturer
  • Ensure schemes remain within governance (scope, cost and schedule).
  • Make informed decisions on the delivery of projects within the Gas Capital plan ensuring delivery to scope, time, cost, quality, SHES and security of supply.

Technical skills and experience:

  • Experience of successful project delivery experience, inclusive of managing FEED contracts for Optioneering, Conceptual and Detailed Design.
  • Significant experience in complex report writing and consolidation of Contractor information into a suscinct and comprehensive summary document.
  • Ideally direct involvement in high-capital regulatory report submissions
  • Project Management skills including management of risk for delivery of projects to scope, time, cost, quality, safety and security of supply.
  • Highly skilled/proficient at use of Mircosoft Office suite applications
