You will be responsible for managing environmental incidents, ensuring regulatory compliance, training colleagues, and communicating with local authorities, issuing permits and consents.

DUTIES
- Manage and respond to environmental incidents in a manufacturing environment
- Ensure compliance with ISO14001 and other environmental regulations
- Train colleagues on environmental compliance and best practices
- Handle permits, consents, and liaise with local authorities and councils
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to uphold environmental standards
PERSON
- Strong knowledge of ISO14001 and environmental management systems
- Experience handling environmental incidents and ensuring compliance in manufacturing environments
- Confident in communicating with local authorities and councils on environmental permits and consents
- Self-motivated with a hands-on approach, keen to take on more responsibility
- Interested in audit training and developing technical expertise further
