- Broker independent specialist educational placements in line with framework agreements and spot purchase arrangements.
- Negotiate placement costs and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Gather and analyse data on SEND referrals, ensuring placements are of high quality and align with local and national benchmarks.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with independent specialist providers and key stakeholders.
- Participate in SEND High Needs Panels and other key meetings to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure effective communication and record-keeping to support seamless casework.
- Support contract management and the performance monitoring of providers.
- A degree or equivalent experience in SEND, education, procurement, or a related field.
- Proven interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret data effectively.
- A commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
- The ability to work collaboratively across teams and sectors.
- Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and the Education Health and Care Plan process is desirable.
