Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Audit Manager at mca Business based in Warwick. As Audit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading audit assignments, managing teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services to a range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audits from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs, OMBs, and large corporations
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing training, guidance and feedback
- Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and relevant auditing standards
- Review financial statements and report findings to senior management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive advice and insights
- Manage the day-to-day running of audit assignments, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
- Support the development of new business and contribute to firm growth
Skills and Experience
- In-depth experience in conducting Financial Audits
- Professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) essential
- Team management experience
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standard
- Strong background in finance and accounting
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple multiple priories and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
- A proactive and solution-orientated mindset
