Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Audit Manager at mca Business based in Warwick. As Audit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading audit assignments, managing teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services to a range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audits from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs, OMBs, and large corporations
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing training, guidance and feedback
  • Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and relevant auditing standards
  • Review financial statements and report findings to senior management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive advice and insights
  • Manage the day-to-day running of audit assignments, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
  • Support the development of new business and contribute to firm growth

Skills and Experience

  • In-depth experience in conducting Financial Audits
  • Professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) essential
  • Team management experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standard
  • Strong background in finance and accounting
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple multiple priories and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
  • A proactive and solution-orientated mindset
