This role is pivotal in driving economic growth and securing funding to support key business initiatives across Warwickshire.As a Funding Lead, you will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify, secure, and manage funding opportunities. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing economic development and delivering impactful projects for the local community.Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify a wide range of funding opportunities from government programs, private sector partners, and grants.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality funding applications, business cases, and bid proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including funding bodies, local businesses, and community organizations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with funding agreements, preparing accurate and timely reports.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Warwickshire County Council to align funding initiatives with broader economic strategies.
  • Analyse economic data and trends to inform funding strategies and project priorities.
  • Provide guidance and training to colleagues and partners on funding opportunities and processes.
  • Ensure that funding opportunities align with sustainability goals and long-term development plans.

  • Proven experience in securing and managing funding in a public or private sector context
  • Strong knowledge of economic development and funding landscapes.
