Twenty4Seven Education is seeking multiple enthusiastic, capable and flexible Cover Supervisors for numerous highly successful mainstream Secondary Schools in Warwickshire. You will effectively supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher ensuring a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment.

Your new role:

  • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection - all concerns need reporting to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
  • You will deliver pre-planned lessons to pupils ensuring students are engaged to ensure pupil progress
  • Give pupils regular feedback on their progress
  • Demonstrate positive behaviour management in line with the school policy - addressing any disruptions promptly and professionally
  • Maintain clear communication with pupils and school staff

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Satisfactory references covering the last 2 years
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce) on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)
  • GCSE English and Mathematics to Grade C+ (or equivalent) is essential
  • Experience working with children within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 3 months of experience)
  • Good Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills
