More about the Role:

As the General Manager of the Old Coffee Tavern, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant / pub and hotel operations. This includes managing staff, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining financial performance. You will be the driving force behind the day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning.

The venue features a well-run pub operation as well as 10 beautiful boutique bedrooms. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about creating a welcoming environment for our existing local customer base whilst also working on building sales.

Our Ideal Requirements:

• proven experience as a General Manager in a similar venue is highly desirable
• lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, including hiring, training, and scheduling staff
• manage budgets, monitor the sites financial performance, and implement strategies to increase profitability
• a notable interest in fantastic food,cocktails, wine and beer
• great attention to detail, high standards and exceptional customer service skills
• develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, including special events and promotions
• a proven track record of effective organisation and planning
• a can-do, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to multi-task
